Drove a fair distance last night upto the stelvio pass, im sure you all know it, ‘the best driving road in the world’ as said by clarkson, its not (imo) theres far better driving roads but its definetly one of the nicest places youll ever see, its not a bad driving road by any means either, its the second time i’ve been here now and i chose to do the same as last time, park up at the top, sleep in the car and enjoy the sunrise, got up at 5 am and drove it with the whole road to myself! Got some good footage & pics of that, car developed a ‘brake error’ warning or something like that which went away after 10 mins cool down, im putting it down to the brales getting very hot as i’d done the pass top to bottom a few times by this point, all seems fine now, off to the umbrail side of the pass now, then austria & switzerland!

Been driving around switzerland, love this place loads of nice cars about mainly wrx sti’s’ probably due to needing 4WD, was also a new megane RS in tonic orange on the motorway, probably a demo car as not sure if theyre on sale yet.

5:52 am, just got back home after 9/10 days on the road! 5121.2 miles doorstep to doorstep, 13 countries and a all round top roadtrip! Cant wait for the next one. Really fallen in love with the clio now! after such a shit start with gearbox issues and it being off the road for around 2 months, it was well worth the time & money after all, theres not much cars i’d rather take tbh, i did double the mileage what i did last year in my MPS which is a much more modern & expensive car, it would probably be in the same category as a megane 275 or something similar so i wouldn't of thought the clio could match it but it really did, i knew the clio would be alot better for the fun stuff but even the long motorway drives it was perfect recaros were really comfy! Fuel consumption wasn’t too bad considering, and most importantly it got me there and back without blowing up  hope you all enjoyed the pics, i have loads more & will probably do a full detailed post when i have time, the posts i made were just when i had abit of spare time when taking breaks etc, i also found some pics online when i was at the stelvio pass as a guy takes photos up there, theyre watermarked so when i get round to buying them ill share on here as they look pretty good!

Just out on a early morning drive, just worked out that in the 4 months of owning the clio (3 of those on the road) its done 14000 miles and been through 15 different countries! Still loving it, time to start saving up now and get a bit more work done!

Last week my front splitter fell off in germany :worried: is anyone selling one by any chance ? Dont mind if 2nd hand, just trying to avoid paying £250 for a peice of plastic! TIA

Just caught up on this thread. Brilliant road trip you had in the summer. Must do similar myself.

Great looking car and awesome trip. Have you slept in the car? Never had to seat folded or out, probably not much room? I presume you wouldn't be able to stretch?

I slept in the car mate, took the rear seats out before i left, at first i slept in the back but then ended up sleeping in the recaro’s by fully reclining them, obviously nowhere near as comfy as a bed but does the job!

Thanks for the reply, indeed it does the job.

I put these stickers on the recaro frame today, all the countries i’ve been too in the clio, as you can see theyre all of skew abit and it looks abit tacky, stickers are also abit big imo, does anyone on here do custom stickers, too get them all in line i could do with having the individual flags all made up into one square sticker so i dont have to mess about lining them all up, if anyone could help making me a set please get in touch, would like to put them on the front/rear window if possible but i knew this set i have atm would be way too big and cover the whole windscreen! Nice idea! Can't help with your request sadly.

The problem is the quality of such stickers. They have to be made explicitly for outdoor use or they'll fade faster than you can replace them. If you really want to have such flags I'd ask a wrapping company that can do digital printing if the can make some. This way you can also chose the size you want.
