Melting steering wheel update

mine started to melt 02/10 model 3year 8 months old, 19500 miles. Was perfect 2 weeks ago ;-( 300 miles later started to go. Think may get Elite or someone just to retrim it and be done with it. cant see ill get 100% from RUK. Any recommendations/costs?

I contacted RUK and they were very helpful.
I went to my local dealer and they sent some pics off for free.
Unfortunately, I keep missing the reply from RUK, but the wheel and seat (recaro) look better in the photos, so i don't hold out much hope!

I've been dealing with 'Holly' from RUK, who to be fair has been very good.

My offer was 70% discount off the replacement parts (steering wheel and recaro seat base), however, they have to be fitted at a dealer.

I think this wasn't bad, but with the labour, i'd be better off buying a new wheel wheel off ebay or getting it recovered, and waiting for the seat base to wear through and getting both seats recovered with leather.
