Forza 4 Pictures and Video Thread

Bit late on the scene with this. Not had a console since the PS2 but the allure of this game proved too much and I bought a 360 just after xmas. Broke my elbow a couple of weeks ago and been off work so plenty of time and not able to do much more than move fingers and thumbs.

Getting the hang of doing graphics now, the black and white is based on the team cars for the Assos EC cycling team. I created all the vinyls for that one, but the Red Bull is copied off someone else's design I saw and recreated with storefront vinyls.

Did some more paintwork last week. Some inspired by Tamiya RC cars and a couple with the logo of the company my brother works for (who host my sites). Logo type not quite right but didn't want to spend to long on it.

How on earth do you get these graphics and you have far too much time on your hands! Lol!

You have to make the logos from basic shapes. It takes ages so I mostly buy logos from the storefront then create schemes from them. You still need to know how to fit them all together so it looks good though!

I've been off work for two weeks, so plenty of time to get to grips with the editor. Back now so won't be doing as much.

Is Forza any good as a sim or is a bit arcade-like? I mostly use rFactor on the PC but never had a chance to touch Forza, it looks annoyingly good

Forza is aimed more at the sim market as opposed to the likes of NFS with their arcade stuff.

I'll really need to get back into F4. Was really good on 2 and 3 but only played 4 for like 5 hours back when it came out and since then our little 'un has been keeping us busy lol.

If you're used to rFactor then no, it's certainly not a sim, but it's about as realistic as you can get on a console and the dynamics work well for playing it with a pad.

Apparently, when they were making Forza 4, the game developers were asking car developers questions about their own stuff that were so complex, they didn't know the answers... That speaks volumes about the games complexity IMO.

I've rolled so many cars off the curb in your second picture lol. Love the AG and it's wheels! Good pics man.
