Hah fixed would be fine at this point, i dont think the oem rail bolt will work. Might try the bolt in mount on that bolt.And that’s the problem, I’ve never actually seen any decent aftermarket rails.
I have the SW bases in the Megane and they’re really nice. They do offer rails, but I’ve no idea on the quality of them.
On their design, the base has a number of holes in for seatbelts and eyebolts. Again that still doesn’t help you a great deal, as the belts would still be ‘fixed’
Haha quite likely. I have direct mounts for driver side. Passenger side is official recaro subframe.I am so glad that I have floor to seat mounts.
You could have probably saved at least 7 days of your life by having simple mounts.

When I got mine back after having them fitted it was slammed on rear and did rub eventually at Cadwell with et50 wheels.Is there a 'method' of determining best ride height with the gaz golds? i think my rear looks a little high (perhaps 20mm), and front could drop perhaps another 10mm. on the basis of running with a bit more stiffness (full soft atm, for transit/road) than i have now. though rear with 20mm spacers is going to be verrrry tight against the arch.

Whilst I don’t think there is a true correct ride height, I think most try to be close ish tk the cup racer set up. Again it’s a guide

Why should it have rake?The back should sit higher than the front so there is some rake.
