ok so I ordered my 200 Cup on 17th July .... was told by the dealer that the car would be delivered Sep/Oct !!

Just had my letter from Renault .....

Car is scheduled for delivery Dec 3rd !!!!! :swear: :swear: :swear:

Seriously, that is crazy.

almost tempted to cancel and buy something else :-(

8 weeks is a bit of a difference considering we ordered ours 3 days apart.

I've had nothing by letter though, just the dealer calling me every few weeks with an update.

A dealer on Renaultsport has one for sale in the same spec. Its in Southampton at the moment awaiting transport to the dealer. Might be worth looking? Actually, i think it might be an FF with Cup pack, but its GW with Black speedlines.

Just spoken to the dealer, he seems to think that the 3rd of Dec is not right so he is chasing it up for me ! (not sure what that will achieve though). fingers crossed but not hopeful

No, you'll have an Order Form but not necessarily anything else in writing from Renault. I didn't. My advice would be to cancel (unless ure gonna get penalised) and go and buy a used one - there's plenty about.
