which oil is best?

Hi mate
Well, both suit our gearboxes but if youll go into oil's specs the nfp is a bit better than the nfj .
What ever youll pick will be fine - i prefer the nfp.
* make sure tl4 or tlx is mentioned on the label because iirc old versions of the nfp oil wasnt for tlx boxes.
As i said there...
And as for the link collin provided,i dont know .
Never bought from there

P.s look on both labels(front/back) sometimes they mention different types

I seen the labal when i was originally looking on google for it. The TL4 is the last on the right at the bottom.
The ones I received today do not have that, and have the same codes as what I sent back.......I'm not even going to send it back this time I'm going to try and sell it and go with some else I think.

I would be contacting neilsencdg and asking about this as it's clearly false advertising.

I did that when I sent the first lot back.
A little bit frustrating, I will sell what I have I'm not sending it back again and use another company.

Out of interest what was their reply?

This was there reply via eBay.

Good morning

Sorry for this issue.

It seems we have received stock of the older labelled bottles.

Also it seems that you need a product called Elf Tranself NFJ not NFP for the Renault Clio 200.

Can you please forward me the Reg of the vehicle to be 100% sure ?

Regards
Allen

So I sent back and reordered though there actual website via the link and exactly the same oil came.

^^^^I hate this type of thing where computers, product codes and nonsense take over from a human being with some thought and common sense !

***Talking of cock-ups: I ordered some mirrors for a motorbike a while ago. First pair arrived scratched from memory. Asked for replacement and said can they please be checked as i wont be accepting anything second-rate. Second pair then also had a problem despite my concerns ! Emailed them again and was promised the third pair would be hand checked to ensure they were perfect. Arrived to find yet another problem - this time one of the threads was knackered i think from memory........

I then physically rang them - got loads of apologies and a "this wont happen again".

Cant remember if it took 4 or 5 deliveries to get it right. But it wasnt a 'pretty' scenario.

GOOD LUCK

I got NFP from them when I ordered my gearbox oil. I've been using it for a few months and have not had any issues. It won't cause any issues, as they are both high quality oils.

Next time, I'll use Redline or Castrol for a change.

Just sis a google on this stuff! Not many outlets for it! Looks like it's going to be fun trying to get the right stuff then :-(

I know it's been mentioned before on the forum, but there just isn't the same level of service from companies any more. It's as if they don't care, or don't have the time/manpower to address individual concerns. Which is surprising given what we know about word of mouth - i.e. people will happily pass on word of a bad service to friends/colleagues/family etc. With the popularity of social media it isn't just word of mouth that businesses should be worried about - 'word' can spread a lot quicker these days...

Trouble is Jimmy - as you get older; the lines between Customer Service decreasing and yourself turning into a miserable old moaning git - diverge together and its hard to know if it was always that bad or i just wont tolerate it anymore !

Yeah I hear you there. I do think it's less about becoming an old moaning git, and more about becoming used to what a good service should be - from the years spent buying things from all these many retailers, and also from working hard in our own jobs to provide a good service to our customers and colleagues!
