What fuel are people running with rs tuning re map

Only ever used shell v power, so hard for me to compare lol. Runs like dream and no kangarooing when cold, 200.

I would only ever use shell v power. There's no point in just using v power for just the map though, as it will be mapped to take advantage of good quality petrol. Regular rubbish won't be very good in comparison (it wants mapping on the fuel its going to be using, the better the fuel the more beneficial the remap). My car is a lot happier on v power or an equivalent than regular stuff.

As long as it's 99 ron you can't go wrong, my previous performance motors was ran on the following.
Astra coupe turbo 300 bhp tesco 99 ron
Astra Vxr 340 bhp bp momentum 99 Ron
juke turbo 240 bhp v power or Tesco 99 Ron
350z tesco 99 Ron
seat Cupra r 290 bhp v power 99 Ron
Clio Rs 200 tesco 99 Ron
spoke to various tuning company's over the years from Vauxhall to skyline specialists the above fuel is good with similar additives.

personal note I either use she'll v power or tesco but normally run tesco 99 Ron never a issue with boosting or performance.
my mates runs 99 Ron tesco fuel in his R35 no issues at all. It's personal preference but as long as it's 99 Ron you can't go wrong.
There was a review a few years back on all 99 ron fuels supplied by various company's and tuning specialists on performance and high end performance cars.
was an interesting read and stats that they compared on dyno and live maps using different fuels.

Used to fuel 95 octane for 53k and lately moved to 98 octane
To be honest my catalyst convert is broken.. But cant really blame the fuel( its broken ) not fulled up or something

Used 99 Momentum since got the car in Feb and it always seemed ok. Car was a still a bit jumpy from cold and had the odd Kangaroo moment which as we all know is pretty much expected.

Last fill up I decided to give VPower a go since Tesco has ended their fuel-save reward scheme making the 99 less appealing, and the car seemed to run a lot better on VPower. Instantly noticeable that it runs better from a cold start, and I think it's yet to Kangaroo on me. Will be using VPower from now on and see how it goes.

I've always used Tesco Momentum and thought the car runs fine, I'm really tempted to give VPower a go but the nearest Shell is quite a lot further so would be a bit of an inconvenience travelling there and back.

I use premium petrol. Tried V power and can honestly say I didn't notice a difference. Is it just cleaner stuff so better or am I being thick haha

They put additives in it Shelly.

I always run vpower, if i cant get it then another premium fuel, i dont think it matters as much with mine though but I still prefer it.
