What does the term OEM actually mean?

Just wondered with car parts what does the term OEM mean? Are these parts OK to buy?

Original Equipment Manufacturer.

Means they supply the original part to the dealer usually. So yes, fine to buy!

(I'm guessing you're looking at Eurocarparts?)
