Wales Trip 2011

Me, the girlfriend and her dog have spent the past week in Wales. We staying in a place near Porthmadog. Minus the fact ive had to have a dog in the car, the 200's windows being covered in slobber and a massive amount of sand in the car, we've had an awesome week. Gutted to come home. Wales is a beautiful place. Amazing scenery and some great roads to drive on
I didn't take too much effort on the photos, as I didn't go to Wales just for the photos, so they aren't the best tbh

Unfortunately didnt get to try out the Evo Triangle. Wouldn't have been fair to be throwing Sarah and the dog around the car whilst I enthusiastically drive around a bit of road

So, it started at Sarah's house early on Monday, with the dog waiting to get in (as soon as she saw us loading up the car, she didnt move from that spot and sat there shaking with excitement - don't understand why, as shes never been aloud in my car):

We were aloud to park the car on the beach down from Porthmadog, so I took full advantage of this lol

FLOL... The beach we went to was like Death Valley. Loads of washed up Crabs and Jellyfish that had died lol.
That particular one was massive though!!

You had the dog in the 200? Are you mad? Lol! I had the missus' doberman in my 197 for 20 mins a few months back, never again will a dog set foot (or paw) in the boot again.

I dont think im as fussed with this car, seeing as its going back to Renault after my 2 year deal runs out.
Tbf though, it meant that the g/f didnt drive, which is a good thing, as he driving scares the **** out of me. Her driving + Welsh roads = probable death.
(She isnt allowed to drive atm anyway, due to a recent accident, so I had no choice either way)
I did ensure that the car was massively dog proofed though. Seat cover, towels over that. It was only aloud on the back seat and I lifted it in/out of the car so that it didnt scratch the skirts or anything. It hasn't caused any damage, and it doesn't lose its hairs, so its all good.

(First time an animal has ever been let in any of my cars).

It was actually quite busy. We just parked well away from all the cars, so that the dog could run around freely and I could get decent photos
It was fun to drive on. I didn't go too fast though, as there were parts that were bumpy and didn't want to lose the front bumper Certainly a good experience. Oh and I didn't want to get stuck, so I was careful.

Sounds like you did a good job of dog proofing the car. Black rock sands always used to be patrolled by the coast guard and they were very annoying about cars on there. Been a while since I went though.

Yup. I ensured no damage could be done to the car. I wouldn't have let the dog in otherwise. It was only the one off though, fortunately.

They have people at the entrances now. You had to pay £4 per day to get onto the beach (although we skanked in 3 out of the 4 days )
