i very nearly got one.
i was looking at the 1.6d
nice cars but absolutly shocking boot(very small and unpractical load opening.)
the leather seats wear quite badly too.

My brother had the 1.6d for a company car. They are pretty good to be fair, although as Jase says, the boot is woeful. Style over substance springs to mind!

The T5 2.5 turbo version is very nice. Same engine as the Focus ST.

other way round....the ford has the volvo engine

C30/S40/V50/C70 are all based on the Focus platform. Bizarrely though, despite being based on the best handling car in class, they are all a bit wooden to drive.

I have a red C30 T5 R-desiqn, having a spirited drive with this car is not so fun compared to the clio as it doesnt have that quick steering response,and because of its heavy weight you feel the car rolling in corners.plus side it has way better tires than the clios which are michelin pe2.
