No I definitely agree the maxogen is better. It's just I think the k&n isn't as bad as everyone states! Mine ran 3 runs all 190ish with 95 octane no fan, bonnet shut and k&n. I could just have a strong puller? I will post up the dyno results when I run with the maxogen although it will be on two different dyno's so not much point lol

Yeah it would of been good if you done a before and after run on the same dyno's,Think Mike done a test at RS tuning on the K&N and lost power and got intouch with K&N to see why and is still waiting for a response i think.
 
Ah fair enough. Can understand he heatsoak issue to be fair but just couldn't see it impacting that much on mine! I've still got the k&n so maybe ill refit and run then run with the maxogen?
 
Let me know what results you get from that Ian? Don't really want to take my k&n off as not long had it, but if the results are dramatically bad then ill be taking it off
