Two Piece Brake Discs

Hey all.

I have searched on here, and via google, but come up with very little.

I am interested in some two piece discs for my 200.

I know k-tec do some, which are Performace Friction as far as i am aware (please correct me if i am wrong).

And i have seen that some people have AP Racing discs.

But cant seem to find either of the above for sale online.

So can anyone point me in the right direct, shed some light on my options etc!

Many Thanks

I have the KTEC ones and as far as I'm aware they're hi-spec. The bigger 330mm ones from KTEC are performance friction

i had the 2 peice ones from K-tec,

only brought them for the looks tbh,

i think Mark had the AP ones as well.

2 piece disks are essential if u do track days mate. Zero warping and tonnes of stopping power. Had mine on for 3 track days and they have hardly lost any material 1mm last time i checked.

cheers for all the info guys.

i do do trackdays. hence wanting some. not to mention lighter, better cooling etc.

I just fitted a set of CL RC6 pads, which are pretty darn good!

nothing wrong with fitting pads to old discs.

you dont change your discs everytime you change your pads!

plus the discs are 3000 miles old, so pretty fresh.

I will see how much a new set is before i offer you anything!

Lol i can tell you how much a new set are lol. Oh and what i was trying to say was your pads will bed into the old disks then you will change the disks and ruin the rotors as they wont bed in properly.

Tbh i find the standard discs are more than up to the task of trackdays.
I just added ds2500 pads all round, hel lines n dot 4 fluid.
I also ran my r26 meg with same set up with no fade issues which is why i carried it over to the clio.
However its nice to have choice...and everyone uses their brakes differently too.

Yes they are but they wear quicker as they get hotter and shed more material

They will also warp if you dont do a cooling down lap after each session.

I went through a set of pads at snett and it ruined my disks.

Btw i drive very very hard on track days and i even get my 2 piece disks smoking.
