Trottas 200 RS build thread.

This is my new car guys, picked it up yesterday morning and spent today cleaning it up ready for work in the morning.&nbsp;<br><br>Its a 2010 cliosport 200 cup pack fitted with sat nav, auto lights and wipers, Bluetooth phone kit and media kit, recaros with yellow centers, 43,000 miles and so far im loving it. Very nice car, I've come from an Audi TT Quattro sport 1.8t limited edition, I spent £5000 on upgrades on it and it still wasn't all that. Nice car but abit boring.

My plans for the clio are mainly carbon fibre additions and some kind of intake if it doesn't affect the flat spot?<br>But as we all know it doesn't stop there ha.

It's coming up to 5 years soon or end of the year and it's due a cambelt, now Renault a crazy £790 odd quid.&nbsp;<br><br>Now is there any specialist in essex area, I'm from Chelmsford area.Pics.1ACC64E8-B4BA-4D6D-B5B4-5876E574092D_1.jpg

Well been online doing the basics and getting new matts and badges for the front.

Bank holiday weekend il be making the side strips, bullets and side repeaters a better finish as oem finish isn't nice at all, il get it in the oven and have a good tidy up and colour code session aswell as the the handles aswell. Il do them on the car as there's no need to remove them really I can get all the areas and have all the tools to have the handles pushed out, il remove the lock part of course.

Be so much better once it's al blacked out, having my dent guy come out and go over two dents I have in the roof. There tiny but want it mint.

Also wet vaced the whole interior today and the seats had a lot of grime in them, the bucket was black once I had finished, doing the seat belts tomorrow.

Did some flat and polishing today, noticed the rear quarter and passenger door have been painted, it's been done well and I'm happy with the finish but there is some slight peel on the edges were they have flat/polished the panel but not done the edge due to fear of going through i imagine, so broke out the polisher and paper and got flaring, managed to do the os and it's come out lovely, will go over it again tomorrow as it was getting cold and I need to do the bonnet, boot, ns and bumper to finish on the roof and il be done. Black is very rewarding once done properly.

Also gave me mums car a clean up, girding rs twingo. Lovely little thing, 10,000 miles.

nice coat of wax tomorrow and she will be gleaming.

Black 200's look so nice, just suits it.

Think intake's increase the flat spot tbh. Get it mapped if you do, is the best thing I ever did to mine, so much more low down power.

Well today I spent most of it in the spray oven and taking care of the colour coding on the side strips, door handles and rs badges to the side.

Few pictures here.

Well today I decided to clean out my scuttle panel area and check my top mounts.

i also removed the rear wiper and measured it up for a final correct answer as I searched on here and found nothing 100% solid. It's 30-31mm. So a binge of 30-32 will be fine.

Here's the proof it's 30-32mm.

Here I simply unplugged the plug and wrapped it in electrical tape and fed it into the other loom. Came out well and kept it neat. Shame I ran out of fabric tape to keep it oem looking but it's all hidden away so it's ok.

Cheers fellas.

I have a be always removed the rear wiper on all my cars, just looks so much better and cleaner. My cars never dirty enough to warrant it being there.

Well today I decided to finish up blacking the side out consisting of the repeaters.

I also tinted the rear 3rd brake light to smooth the rear end off some more, can out rather well and still iluminates well.

Then I moved onto removing the vinyl on the b post/door edge, it needs flatting/poloshing up but nothing crazy so that's a job for next weekend.

And gave her a good autoglym hd wax.

still have to clean my seat belts and possibly fit some carbon front and rear badges, and then the rear cup spoiler with carbon end plates.

Soon on to have the center box removed and possibly an intake system.

Well today I finished up machining my rear wiper delete bung, made from aluminium and turned down on the work lathe.

Came out perfect so I sprayed it deep gloss black so it looks like the glass.

Also some idiot before me decided to pull the window strip off on both sides and broke the clips, so tonight I sealed them back on and left the clamps on tonight to hold it all down. Also my door side strip moulding at the back edge needed pinning down so it got the same treatment.
