Trolley Jack, Axle Stands & Socket Set Help!

I got my 1.5tonne trolley jack complete with axel stands and wheel chock things for like £35 delivered on eBay iirc

I can still get it under the drivers side to jack up the car even tho it's lowered too.

Oh, get an electric screwdriver. Makes getting them torx screws out a bit quicker and easier.

You might want some copper slip/grease and some swarfega too :tongueout: it'll save the bollocking for leaving black hand prints on all the white doors.
And the sink lol.

Just go into any Halfauds mate and tell them you never pay full price and you will get them cheaper
Plus you had loads of money yesterday where's that gone??? At one point I thought you were going to start your own stall up lol
Lol :-p I've still got it, I just couldn't warrant spending too much on this stuff.

I have halfords trolly jack and stand set that come with the car creeper.

I use a 1/2 inch drive tengtools torque wrench and there 1/2 inch drive socket set stock number no.9121 which are for air guns so extremely well made!

The wrench goes from 40-210nm

Think I got them both from ffx or something and they are incredible for speedy service!
Cheers for your input man. Those do look well made!

Cheers man - I'm good on that front! eBay though aye... Good shout!

I think there is a lot to be said for being able to do simple jobs on your car, and I would say most people have an interest but too scared to do anything in case they break it or just no idea where to start.

Take me for instance, I have all the best intentions when it comes to home mechanics but I lack some of the correct tools, but would buy the correct 'stuff' as long as it was not too expensive.

They are life time guarantee and as i say for air gun toools so far better than the run of the mill, iirc they were just £28 which for a one off cost.

They are 1/2 drive as my torque wrench is 1/2 drive. it is about the only wrench i could come that comes with calibration certificate.

I've got one of the Halfords Professional sets, the 150 peice or something. I've had it for about 4 years now, got it when it was on offer for about £90 or something (it's this one HERE)

I've had no problems at all, they're great tools and take a beating!

I would be up for a self-service master class lol.

I think I've found my socket set. Cheers matey.

Welcome, you won't be disappointed.

Remember this is a 1/2" Drive set. You will need one that is the correct size if your drive is different.

ffx is a very good supplier usually posting on same day before 2, if you get stuck give them a ring and they are very helpful.
