To starter motor or?

Went out to have a look. My click has now gone but there's nothing still. My brake peddle feels unusually stiff, and still got that steering message.

found an old thread by ben_r1 on cliosport who said that it was a fuse under the battery.

any ideas?

you have made sure the battery is ok haven't you?

Well I have full electrics...radio, air con etc. So would assume battery is fine.

I wouldn't assume anything! make sure the battery is ok

Just stuck it on a charger as I don't have a multimeter to hand and it says the battery is 100% but I'll leave it on a trickle charge until tomorrow afternoon anyway...all I can do for now.

So I trickle charged the battery and put it back on the car and it didn't start so I left it. Went down the next day and it started right up. Borrowed a multimeter and the battery reads a strong 12.6 so it's fine...Unsure what the problem is tbh.
