Things happening to the UR 197 and Opinions please! Got it back!

The interior LEDs take some getting used to but I love mine

Wheel wise I would go black or anthracite

Isn't £60ish per wheel quite pricey? I think the wheelspecialist is cheaper.

They're £62 plus VAT, so works out at £74.40 a wheel. So £300 amost for the set. Completely stripped, painted and baked, tyres refitted and balanced with new valves. Come with. 2 year guarentee. I thought that was about right?

Go for the anthracite wheels, a 200 rear diffuser and we'll call your car a 199. Then add the marmite (love it or hate it) 200 front bumper for the finish.

its about £50 more than i pay at the wheelspecialist in leeds...although i have had my old wheels done quite a few times :001_unsure:

Sounds pricey for the wheel refurb mate. I think i'd go for Anthra so you get the look but without it being too much

I love UR with dark wheels

Getting the tyres fitted at smartcare in Tipton when I have the wheels done on Monday.

There are several reasons why I'm having the wheels done here.

1. They have courtesy cars so I can get home and back to pick it up with no issues.
2. They are a fairly big company with decent looking vans and premises, which they have just moved to from smaller premises round the corner. You don't do an upgrade like that in this current economic climate unless you are doing well and have happy customers (and after having cowboys play with my car in the past I don't want it again).
3. They are close by. The wheel specialist is another 30 mins drive to Brum.

Obviously all the other resons for having my wheels done will stand for whereever I get them done.

let me know how you get on arran they are pretty close to me too, im also looking at getting mine done in anthy. Not seen you around in wolverhampton before but will keep an eye out for you

Ok mate, will do. What colour is your 197? I don't use mine a great deal, mainly at weekends.

Ok, will probably be Wednesday. Car is booked in at Renault on Wednesday. Having some things done under warrenty again!

its an 08 plate albi, ah that maybe why then, will have to get myself down to a meet at some point

Will look out for you. Are you from Wolves? Keep an eye out for any meets coming up, the next one is likely to be in Coventry/Birmingham at the end of April. Still planning it though and will probably be talking about it with the area members at the National Meet in a couple of weeks. Are you coming?

whats up now mate???

Window seals are falling off, rear seats rattling again, boot lid banging again, clutch pedal feels loose and cluncks when using it. Also found a load of water in the boot after I washed it yesterday, so will ask them about that too. Glovebox has dropped on one side. Think that's it.

Ye. Quite worrying with the water in the boot, I wondered why the jack was a bit rusty and mucky. Then I saw it yesterday, big pool of water in the boot floor. Took the trim off but couldn't see where it was coming from.
