The dreaded Kangaroo

Bought my 56 plate 197 a couple of months ago and am experiencing the kangaroo. Have changed plugs, they were a smidge knackered and apparently two weren’t tightened properly! Have done the cable tie trick with the map sensor and she is still bouncing . This happens at cold start , which I do wait til idle drops then leave but also when warm. Love this car but this issue is driving me nuts!
She does have an aftermarket sports cat fitted (bought with it)
Any help or ideas would be appreciated

You could either revert the exhaust back to stock or get it remapped in its current form.

Some do it worse than others, and some still do it after a map. Unfortunately it’s just one of those things which you have to accept as a bit of a quirk.

I have a similar problem but not sure if that's kangarooing, so what I experienced was the car oscillated back and forth when I changed from 1st to 2nd with good bit of acceleration. The car kangaroo less when I let the clutch go a bit slower or when I kept a little pressure on the gas pedal while upshifting.
