Stuck in gear

Drove to Blackpool this mor
Ing as we were coming off motorway went to gear down from 6th gear and gears were stuck,managed to park up but not sure if we are gonna get back,anybody no what could be wrong ?

Try pumping the clutch pedal and check your brake fluid. This happened on my first 197 and it was the slave cylinder that was finished.

do you still have pressure on ure clutch pedal?

Yes still have pressure,managed to get it in different gears now but wary about getting home

could be a clutch problem nicky or could just be a drop in oil levels or pressure for some reason has it been stud for a while?

No it gets used everyday.

could be a worn clutch plate. is ure pedal hard to push in?

No not really when I start it up it doesn't make a noise if I put it in gear then take it out it makes a rumbling noise

Hi all,well made it home no problem,everything seemed to be back to normal and went into gear fine,gonna get the car booked in somewhere though as obviously something wasnt right !!
