New colour coded gaitor from this forum (great quality) opened up the staples, removed the original, pierced holes with original staples and closed shut with pliers. New Sport Yellow extended shifter from ZeroPointOne. Very pleased.

Ok so been a while, but I haven’t been asleep.
I had a dodgy rear shock, looked into it and when taking into account the cost of 1 shock when of course you should replace the pair and given the terrible corrosion (should have checked before I bought this car - sea side car). Just made sense to replace all the suspension...I chose the KTR home grown coil over kit - very pleased.

So a whole can of worms opens up! Put together French engineering - aluminium and steel bolts! And a ’sea side’ car...there was no way the hubs weren’t coming off (proper garage, not diy) £500 later two new hubs and suspension on.
In addition I had the following fitted: DNA sway bar tie rods and front subframe tie rods.

So I started getting some break squeak, so i bought some more goodies from k-tec.
Ferodo DS2500 front and rear pads
KTR braided lines
PFC brake fluid oack
so of course I got a call from the garage: rear RH calliper hadn’t been working properly for some time, so now have a new TRW calliper but it’s silver, that’s a paint job later.
Then the front pins were seized on the front callipers, so new pins and clips and we now have a proper setup.

Oh and I bought a KTR extended boot mat, great quality and highly recommended.

Next up a full service, belt change etc and in the New Year off to Horsham Developments for a full rolling road tune and bespoke map.

Thanks Dan, the seatbelts are from parts-house (766) on ebay. Original listing was: renault clio 3 mk3 custom performance coloured seat belts.
I cant seem to find the listing now and it states the seller is away until 21st Jan. If you cant find him using the ebay seller name I can message him for you. Thanks Darren
