Speed camera laser detector, anyone got one?

How well do they actually work ?

I use the Roadangel Gem, it's ok, saved me a few times, just by alerting me of cameras in strange towns. It is easy to creep above the limit just following the flow of traffic. The laser detector is just a gimmick to tell you have been caught. By the time you hear the warning the ticket is in the post. If you don't want a ticket it is easy, don't speed. You can get laser jammers but they are perverting the course of justice, and it is a jailable sentence.

Getting my licence back in a week after a 13 month ban and I don't want any more convictions!

Just thinking it might have been worth it for the sneaky mobile cameras!

I use my eyes, they work all the time and are free.

If your on a tight leash then id just not speed tbh. Can always go on a blast around country lanes where they'd never be if you want to get the pedal to the metal.
