Brings back memories. Making me want to get the saxo out the garage and build it all over again! (I still have the car but it's currently running a standard 16v engine with breathing mods, just needs some welding and a gearbox).

It's not been on the road since 2010 LOL Started off as a vtr which I bought in 2003, then I did the 16v engine conversion myself, followed by a high-comp tb build. It was running around 180-190bhp and went like hell. About 350kg lighter than the Clio too... No pics of the TB build as they were all on my old laptop.

LOL the 'image' of the saxo never bothered me, especially when it kicked the arse of so many higher-powered cars! Poseidon Blue was the chav's colour

2 of my mates are running pugs. One is building a 106 16 valver with TB's, the other has a 306 with a turbo v6 (405 lump).

Looks like a great 106, I actually quoted the drenth gearset for mine, not too horrendous, it's going to be an option for the future!
Drength BE gear set is a great piece of kit. Very strong gearbox with great ratios. The Sadev box I had was a conversion out of a C2R2 and the ratios were suited to sprints and hillclimbs really not great on the track though.
