Ship horn sound?

Went on reverse with nearly full steering lock and i heard a noise quite similar to a ship horn sound,but not that loud,i could barely hear it.The sound comes from beneath the car.

After coming back home,i tried to hear this sound again but i couldn't hear anything.
Anybody knows what's that?

P.S. Could it have anything to do with the fact that i curbed my rear right wheel a few days ago?

are u on coilovers? could be tyre running on a spring/shock, my polo used to do it going round corners, could also be power steering pump?

197 doesnt have a power steering pump !

i could be the brakes binding slightly.....perhaps

Could it have been that big ship you nearly reversed into lol!?

Honestly I doubt it would have anything to do with curbing the alloy, if something had bent then you would know about it all of the time!

had this yesterday - rear pads !

did a full brake strip and clean today on mine - all sorted now :thumbup1:

yeah its the rear pads bud, mine do it from time to time, build up of bread dust. youl only hear it in reverse.
