Is this variable on the 197? Mine was done last September and it's already on, having only done around 7K miles. Is it coz the car gets a good ragging most days?

exactly - think it comes on 1000mile/1month before its due

Thats weird, ours didn't do that last year we only did 5.5K in the first year but the service light didn't come on after the 12 month mark

mine has come on with 1000 miles to go. gives me enough time to get a good price for the service.

Almost had my clio197 a year now, had a letter from Renault reminding me that the service is due :roll:
Checked computer on my Clio to see how many miles to next service and "service due soon" came up
Ive done just over 8000 miles since ive had the car, so the 12 months has came up first, so how much
will i be looking to pay Renault for a service (roughly) :?:

varies from £180-£280 for the first service which isnt more then an oil & filter change :shock:
