Re-set Service Indicator

Hi,
Have done a search but cannot find anything on this subject. Does anyone know how to re-set the service indicator?

yeah ignition power on not engine. go to the service due now screen hold both buttons until it flashed and goes back to 12k i seem to remember having this convo a few weeks ago. ill try and find the thread

Thanks guys, seems like it's a bit of a lottery especially when the 'service due' message is being displayed. I'll have another go tomorrow and let people know how i get on. When i did the wife's 1.4 it was the top button that sorted it. That though had not got the service message displayed.

Success, thanks all. The sequence that worked on mine, which was displaying the 'Service Due' message, was;

1) Vehicle in neutral handbrake on.
2) Start Engine, leave ticking over.
3) Cycle the instrument pack messages so that the 'Service Due' message is displayed.
4) Push and hold bottom right hand stalk button.
5) Hold button in for 15 seconds (thats how long mine took) or untill the message flashes.
6) Release button on stalk.
7) Service interval now shows 12000 Miles.

just for info on my cup i had to hold top button for 15 secs
