Quick question about cup chassis?

Hi.

As i mentioned in a previous thread i am new to renault sport cars, and im hoping to treat my self at christmas to a 197.

What im not too sure about though is the exact diiference between the 197 and the 197 with the cup chassis?

As far as im aware its the 30% stiffer springs, 7 mm lower all round and sachs dampers.

Am i right or are there more differences?

and originally only on the r27 then eventually on the 197 cup or 197 with cup chassis option

standard 197 chassis is very capable i have found - but if buying a 200 it would have cup chassis

U can just have cup pack mate. 30mm lower, 25% stiffer suspension, anthracite wheels and red calipers well worth the money.

What about air conditioning? I dont want AC so is it an optioanl extra and which models come without it ?

197 cup = no air con it has to be specced as an optional extra

The 200 CUP comes without air con too.

If you get the F1 model, it is a cup and a full fat, so has everything. Air Con is an optional extra on the cups, so it may have them on some.

You need it in Europe lol
