Pin kit needed for fitting new brake pads ?

That would do the job the pins can stick if it is not going to happen cut the pins with a junior hacksaw or hacksaw blade but before changing pads get a cheap set of pins first if you need the car everyday then you will not get stuck after cutting the pins they will be easier to remove then a little copper grease stops them binding to the aluminum of the caliper. A small Allen key head bolt is good to put over the pin head to refit it as it keeps the hammer away from the caliper and the head cups the pin to stop it slipping. I'm still pretty sure its a 4mm punch I don't have a pin around to measure at the moment.

Do you think this kit would be ideal? It's been in my watch list for ages but I haven't needed to change the pads until now...

They look good but are expensive for a set of punches
