New member | Essex | 197 tbc

Hello chaps!

Ben I've never used Romford Renault but will give them a try if this car gets sorted. Toomey took my first Clio there and would never go back, not only we're they extremely pricey they we're of no help when trying to find out if my car was ready yet when I came to collect.

RV (touch wood) the car gets sorted in time for the Photoshoot and I will be more than happy to get down there!

How old is the car? the belts are not due until it's either 5 years old or 60,000 miles
 
Car is a 2008 plate with 51,000 miles so will look at getting the cambelt done asap if the deal goes through which could be tomorrow!
 
Still got a little time to play with regards to cambelt, but best to be safe for the sake of it.

On a side note my pal at works got an 05 182 on 120k with the standard cambelt!!!

Would a remap be recommended to get rid of and dull or flat spots?

Need to get a feel for the car first I guess to decide what I want to do with it.

Picking her up Saturday, they said they will "valet" clean it but as soon as she's back I've got a friend coming over with his snowfoam and detailing bits so will give it another good clean and get pics up then!

Awesome, i nearly got black but just as i went in to Renault Enfield to put down the deposit another branch has sold it, was furious with them.

Look forward to seeing it.

I almost bought a beamer from them.

Shame I didn't come see it, the ex works down the same road haha
 
Welcome mate im in basildon. So local. I had the cam belt done on mine as i bought it with 80k on it. Not really fussed about miles. I drove the car. Then put a deposit on it. I wasn't even car shopping. But what a load of fun they are. I hate how much petrol i use though. But thats true no matter what car u have.
 
I'm from loughton pal just don't ever use Renault Enfield they messed my last 197 up and that's why I have a 200 now .
 
Buddy what did they do?

I think I might give Romford a chance but we'll see if not I don't mind travelling to a specialist.
