New Golf GTI Performance = RS250 time on the Nordschleife

Golf GTI managed a time of 8:29 around the Nordschleife.

Car tested had 240 ps and a peak torque of 395 nm(small peak) then 380 nm and dropping. HHR time was 1:17.8 so the same as the Focus RS and 0.7 secs slower than the RS250.

Tyres : Bridgestone S001 .

Tested weight 1406 kg Looks like the little Golf handles a bit better now. It actually pulled 1.25 g cornering with the SOO1's .0.5g more than the RS250

Look like VW are back...
