New 200T Facelift

Seen these over on Facebook a few days ago so thought I'd post them up and see what people's thoughts were.

Looks like they've took a few features from the Rs16 (Lights, Akra)

Quote from renault:

"The same classic Trophy recipe, now available as part of the standard range. For those looking for something lower, tauter and more powerful than the standard car."

They don't give full specifications but I'm assuming "more powerful than the standard car" means it will have the 220 engine ? The lights and wheels look great IMO, bet that Akra sounds good too.

Doesn't look a massive change to the original car though and can't see it being cheap, considering you can get a practically new trophy for about 16-17k now.

The Renault flags in the bottom are the Drls I'm pretty sure.. Cant see it having two sets.

Do you think that's possible? Doubt it will be that straightforward and Renault have been typically unhelpful when I asked the question.

I'd love the Bose system but I think that's unlikely to be possible.

Just looks like a remoulded insert to the bumper to me. The lights will probably end up being next to impossible....

Now i get converted the more i see it (Its Liquid Yellow like Chris91's).

Interior is awesome, goes well, launch control is brill, handles well, Cup setting really works. Perhaps a little less aggressive on the outside.....but time moves on even if we dont !

Actually had the launch control on yesterday, got quite the look from some old boy mowing his lawn as I did it just on the exit of a village into a national. Was funny, really good fun!

The 200T is really growing on me and I would like go in one to see what they're like. I think they appeal to me more now that they are a reasonable price, I wouldn't ever buy one new.. quite a few at <13k at the moment and I saw a trophy for about 16.5k last week. The only problem is that there's barely any with the leather seats and for me, it's a must (I like a bit of luxury)

I like the look of this face lift one BUT the thing is, if I was putting 20k+ in to a car i'd be buying a 275 trophy - I'm not one of those people who have a issue with it being auto either and I really like the looks it's just I think you can get a whole lot more car for the same money.
