So myself and Robo Jarviiiiice had a small European road trip earlier this week.

Renault Sport track day was the main port of call, then we decided to pop to the 'Ring also, as it was so close!

so we set out monday morning:

Spa hotel reached and breached:

Early start, but luckily Spa was about 1 mile from the hotel!

Renault Sport overload:

Was a very enjoyable day on track!

Needless to say the front tyres took a pounding, agressive driving + lack of camber:

Good fuel consumption on track too:

So then it was decided to head to the 'Ring, as it was only 70 miles away.

Unfortunately it was a bit foggy!

But we did the usual shops/business outlets.

24 inch tyre!

Got to the guesthouse, and decided if we were going to go out, we might want a little more grip on the front, so swapped the wheels front to back:

The 'Ring unfortunately never opened for its evening session. It was far too foggy. We were fairly gutted! But rob still drove us back to the guesthouse as though he was on it!!!

So with the Ring closed, there was only one option...... get on it!

When we finally awoke the next morning, it was time to check out, pay our bill and hit the road.

Rooms were 38 euros each. Grand total for stay including 1 night accomodation and bar bill... 155 euros! memories.... priceless!!!

Heading home was interesting, Belguim decided to have some seriously heavy rain and thunderstorms. Usually not an issue, but on semi bald 888's.... it was slow progress! Cruised at about 45mph, and the car was still moving around a lot under us!

But we managed to get home in one piece!

Was a very enjoyable trip!

Love the track pics and the storm grey works surprisingly well with the White racer wheels.

Know what you mean bout driving in a monsoon with used 888s on to. We had to pull over it was that bad.
