Owned a 231 rx8, and got spanked by a standard 182. The rx8 had plenty of body roll and the 197 handles better.

The thing is with rx8s is that they need alot of maintenance, ie the coil packs need changing every three years which not many know about, so if there not maintened well enough there performance suffer alot more than piston engines.
Mine is quick very quick and thats comparing it too my previous cars of a fiesta st185, corsa vxr and civic type r so they are quick
