Does anyone else have that one car, the one you want to own and could realistically afford but just don't dare?



I'm always scared owning one would be a disappointment but I've had a bit of a 'thing' for them for a while now....

Sierra or Escort Cosworth, both very much hero cars to me but I know they wouldn't handle as well as something modern.

I remember when my Dad was looking to change his 4x4 Cossie back in 1995 and even then he said the 2.5 Mondeo was a much better car to drive, just lacked the power of the Cossie.

Guess ill have to save some more and guarantee that by buying a Z-Tune.

Virtually every car iv driven has been a disappointment, except the clio and 350z.

My dad used to work at Land Rover, so I always wanted a Defender. Until I got older, then wanted fast road cars. Never really wanted any specific cars loads though tbh. I always liked Pug 306 estates as a kid too, don't know why!

I have to say that ever since watching the first Fast and the Furious I have wanted a bright orange Toyota Supra ;/

Then after watching the 2nd Fast and Furious I wanted a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R lol.

Child at heart really but I'd also really like an Eleanor. Shelby Mustang GT500 :thumbup:

Not all Fords are bad, wouldn't touch a Fiesta but the Focus ST/RS are both pretty nice if a little in your face dependant on colour choice.
