fitting kw v1 to my 197. brought them second hand. notice the standard rubber bushes don't fit over the the rear shock. does anyone know if they need to be drilled out or are you ment to get new one's cheers

cheers woody. what about the metal sheath that is between the two bushes. do you not need that cheers
The instructions are very vague if i remember rightly the 2 rubber mounts sandwich over the bodywork they may need drilling for the new kw's to slide through then its the thick nut and the thin locking nut on top. Job done

I'm assuming the set up at the rear is the same as a 172?
x2 rear bushes, and the little metal collar that sits between the bushes. I also have some second hand v1's (not fitted them yet) and dont have any collars............

hey people, cheers for the help. they are now fitted. yea just drilled the two rear bushes to 10mm. i never got any collars so as im an engineer i made new 10mm collars.
