Bit of an update on the steering situation: replaced the entire rack/tie-rod assembly.
So an aligment was needed and then we saw this:
The camber was way off, 0° on one side, -2° on the other...What is going on? Turns out the wishbone bushings are completely shot, desintegrating is a better word even. Difficult to see when they are on the car.
So replacing them with new OEM ones? Nope, Powerflex adjustable blackseries bushing so we can adust camber and caster.

have you got a special storage for all your wheels??
haha if you only knew...I own in total 8 sets of wheels for 4 cars. Granted selling the silverstone laguna wheels.

Is it just the front kit you’ve got? What are the instructions like? I’ve never dropped the sub frames so just wondering if it’s something I’d be able to do easily on my drive.

Looking good, there's some really interesting modifications going on in here, will be keeping and eye out for an update.
car is finally "ready"
Replaced due to wear and tear:
-Steering rack incl tie-rods
-Replaced control arm rubbers for powerflex black series adjustable (camber and caster)
-Inserts on the uprights where the tie rods fit into, custom alloy made.
other upgrades:
-Spoon rigid collar kit
-alignment: -1,2° camber, 6° caster, 0° toe left and right
-OZ ultraleggera 17" 8J ET55 and 225/45/17 Yokohama AD08R tires
Other maintenance:
-Oil: Castrol Edge titanium 5W40
-Oilfilter (man)
-Sparkplugs (NGK)
-Cabinfilter (man)
-Cleaned ITG airfilter
-Replaced fire extinguisher (out of date)
-Replaced Goodridge lines for Hel lines with OE brackets for the lines.
-Flushed brake fluid with Motul RBF660
-Windscreen wipers (Bosch)
-Did some routine checks

Quite an update there and as mentioned those OZ wheels really do make a huge difference to how the car looks. Don’t suppose you have any feedback on the collars do you? I’m so tempted to buy some if the claims they make are true.

the effect they have is profound, the entire front end feels a lot more solid.

True, I still have some work to do. Replacing windscreen (completely pitted) and replacing drivers recaro upholstery.

Im even more tempted now, I take it it’s solid but controlled (not crashy)?? Did you just buy the front set, I think I’m the website it says they have a front and rear kit?
