Sooo frustrating! Been stuck in the house all day waiting on the delivery of my wheels. Can't go out or into back garden in case I miss the courier. If they don't arrive today I don't know if I should wait in tomorrow being a bank holiday, & then that means if they don't arrive I'm stuck in on Saturday. Wanted them for Spa. Need to get a haircut sometime but think it'll be after Spa now. No way of tracking the delivery. So annoying. Rant over.

Quick update. Managed to get a consignment number from Team Dynamics. They're on the van from Inverness depot & due by 10pm tonight. All I have to do now is get tyres fitted.

As for the haircut, get some clippers and take the whole lot off. You'll feel all liberated!

Well they arrived! Done a test fitting of the rims & all is good. I was supplied wheel bolts with the wrong thread, but no matter the old ones will do for now. Off to sort out tyres tomorrow.

good news. happy for you johnny. which tyres are you going to buy?

Undecided on tyres as yet. AD08R maybe or PS4. As I only do 3 or 4 track days a year I'm not sure how much I want to compromise on wet weather performance on the road. I'm considering more rims with something more track oriented. I've never had issues with PS4 on track so maybe I don't push as hard as some people. Might swap the PS4 from my Speedlines if I can't get tyres at a decent price before I leave for Spa on Sunday afternoon.

think going sensible with tyres is the way to go since you are based in Scotland..sure it rains quite often

Tried 5 local tyre places this morning & they only keep budget tyres. No deliveries til Tuesday so the PS4 are coming off the Speedlines on to the new rims. If Spa is wet I'll be laughing!
