Issue on idle

I have noticed recently about an 'unsettled' idle. It isn't enough to move the rev counter needle but you can feel it and if your at the back of the car you can hear it through the exhaust. It is almost like it is hunting. Seems to pull fine and I had it RR'd at 192bhp a few weeks back.


Any ideas? I would usually look at something MAF related, but these don't have a MAF do they? Potential VAC line split?

There is a MAP sensor that sits on top of the manifold, it could be that.

My car doesn't idle very well on regular petrol but is happy with shell vpower or equivalent

The 1*2 do this as standard. Nothing to worry about. Part of the 'character'

Completely normal from what I remember of my 197.

Mines fine. It was my 172 that wasn't. It's fair steady at 1000 tbh

Im having an issue where on cold start the idle is as if the car is warm. Too low
