Inner 'steering' Ball Joint

Just put the clio through MOT and had an advisory of 'slight play in inner, 'steering'' ball joint.

I've had a search around but might not be using the correct terms.

Has anybody else had this? Is it possible to change just the ball joint? If so is it a mega job or will Renault do their usual, you need to replace the whole steering rack etc?

Thanks

Inner ball joint, not lower as I've replaced both of those and hubs within the last 12 months. I'd be beyond upset if it was those.

they mean the inner steering rack ball joint - common fault - easy to do with right tools and not mega expensive

Gota love 197s and their common faults. Think I've had most of them haha.

Thanks for you help guys!
