Most say 1.5 litres but i usually find myself redoing all calipers just to use it up, two 500ml bottles does me.

1ltr is enough - if you put through 250ml per wheel it will easily replace all the fluid in the pipes...

I think it's ended now.

Just an update, I used about 1.5 litres, but I did bleed the fronts twice (I had to refit them part way through the rebuild process as my paint didn't turn up!)
