I take it the heavy duty clutch will be more suited for competing?
Is it just that it's tougher, like a higher tolerance threshold or something?
Quaife + lightened flywheel are seriously good together.
what made you go for a quaife diff, steve?
First day of competition with the Quaife in place. Wow.
Installation was an absolute pain, having to sacrifice a shaft due to it being seized in the oem diff.
Despite the fitting issues, for anyone tracking one of these cars on a regular basis, fit an LSD & you wont regret it.

Looks amazing Steve. Has the lighter flywheel made much difference too? What event was this?

Hi mate, wouldn't bother with flywheel, big improvement is in fitting the diff.
Event was a local combined motorkhana/hillclimb, nothing important, finished 1st outright with FTD (fastest time of day) which is reassuring (more cheap gold plastic for the missus to dust) .
..the diff not whining at all? How much extra sound does it generate if at all Steve?
I noticed a whine from the quaife. It's not loud but audible at low speeds.
