Another small update...
Fitted the RS Synthetic rubber mats, had the same type mats in my JCW & loved them. Fantastic quality & wear much better than the oem carpet ones.
Wow what an improvement.
If you don't mind more NVH the 'Vibra Tech Torque Link' is a must have, better throttle response, shift feel, launch quality & drivability.
For a few dollars & 30 minutes fitting time the result is honestly amazing.
Fitted a rear tow strap, requires making an adaptor as per front strap, however there is a little more work involved as the factory tow point is hidden behind the bumper, so you must remove both the diffuser & bumper to gain access.
Fortunately the rear tow point is located directly in line with where the diffuser meets the bumper so no holes need be made, just a little internal trimming which can't be seen once reassembled.
Another benefit of this location is that the strap can be used to pull the car at a variety of angles without damaging the bumper/diffuser.
Managed to locate an 'as new' complete leather interior from an A&D 200 (recaros, rear seat & doorcards).
Much much nicer place to be now, plus the factory spec tissue paper on my drivers seat bolster was starting to wear.
Painted harness slots in Recaros & fitted & painted interior grab handles to door cards.
