Help making a choice

i am looking for a head unit to meet the following requirements with a tight budget of £150

-Work with Iphone
-Good sound quality
-work with steering wheel control

i was thinking this ..

but it just screams cant afford X305s (which i cant)

cant go wrong with alpine. I love mine, if you do go for it, dont buy the ipod cable (KCE-433iV )from the site, get it on ebay cheap as chips. £7ish on ebay or £25 on most sites.

ive got hands free and currently have a tunepoint my main aim is upgradding sound quality

Fair enough, your budget may be a limiting factor though, especially if you want to retain / better integrate the current functionality.

When I was looking at head units that would drive an iPod/phone and do bluetooth there wasn't much you would really want for less than £200.

That was kinda my thoughts too, but that was just too much so we ended up going for the Parrot. I think that needs an extra bluetooth module.

There was a nice Pioneer that I looked at last month, can't recall the model (possibly the Pioneer MVH-8300BT) but it was about £239 on Amazon. Also the Kenwood KDC-BT61U looked good, but you need an iPod cable at around £28.

Also remember to factor in the cost of the fascia adaptor and wiring adaptors.
