Head Unit

Evening,

Finally opened the wallet and bought a new head unit begrudgingly due to peeling and tatty OEM unit.

Nothing fancy but mechless & Bluetooth alpine HU which keeps it as OEM as possible.

Sourced a Meg facia which should allow for a nice fit. However my poor technical info stops at the am/fm aerial.

Struggling to source the correct adapter. This is the cable in question.

And the counter OEM part


Sure I'm missing something obvious here, but brain is smashed thinking about it.

Could anyone point me in right direction please?

I think you may need one of these, although it should say in the Alpine manual

Thanks for the reply [MENTION=52344]antnee[/MENTION] ,managed to get one from halfords but doesn't fit.

Full user guide is on CD and MacBooks packed up. They only provide a 'quick' user guide in hard copy form. Will try it at graft tomorrow and see what else I can get.

It now looks to potentially be a Fakra aerial connection - has anyone had any experience?

That Fakra is the correct coding, is it not?

Looks like a standard connection to me like [MENTION=52344]antnee[/MENTION] said. why doesnt it fit?
