GW 197 track build

Neglected the bar a bit because life but finally time to start sorting it out again.
Really liked the look of rear bumper cutouts so...

I drew the shape I wanted to cut out on some masking tape, cut it out with a dremel, hot glue and tiger sealed the mesh in.9C888088-5A6B-4F54-B050-E40B992D5B2A.jpeg46A5A897-6FB9-4896-98F9-104702E94386.jpegF5A00A09-EB3A-4384-9342-5C124E45A3A5.jpeg

Also 3d printed some door handle surrounds. Might sell some if there’s any interest in them.
First revision low quality print as follow, planning to print them in petg and at a lower resolution when I’m happy with them.

Long overdue suspension service, big thanks to jade developments.

~50k miles of torture on the roads had them looking a little worse for wear. Glad it won’t be seeing the road again.

They’ve pretty much replaced every seal, bush, bearing and joint to get them looking good and functioning how they’re supposed to. Some shiny rentune platforms added a bit of colour too.

My odyssey pc680 was also completely dead so upgraded to a ~2kg lithium battery with a bracket I designed to keep the mounting points I used previously.

It’s so light it doesn’t even feel like a battery!

Some CAD stuff for those who are interested in that kind of thing.

Wheel wells and underside of the car was caked in dirt so tried to clean it all up a bit.

Also designed and 3d printed some lightweight heater to dash adapters. Could do with a few tweeks but pretty pleased with the the first attempt.

Hey bru. Car looks really good and purposeful. How do you find the 182 pulley? Is it worth doing?

Cheers. I haven’t fitted it yet, cambelt is due so I’ll be doing cambelt, cambelt protection plate and 182 pulley all soon.
