GW 197 Full fat with Cup pack!

Hi all thought id put a progress thread up of my 197 so here we go!







French plate and replaced the front indicators with the bluey/purple jobbys.



debadged the 'clio'



few clean pics





Then i went for some big mods and got it booked in at K-Tec for a full exhaust system, sport cell cat, ITG induction kit.

Sorry no real pics but sounds vv loud!

kept it like this for a while then bought some 25mm hubcentric spacers, all round, very shhhexy looking









Then got it booked in at K-tec again for some well need lowering, -30mm H&R springs and a dyno run as they couldnt get it done the fisrt time i took it too them.

It was making 169.4 on the first run which was def not kosher that was apparently the map that they used to buy in before they made they're own, so they then put the new and improved map on which made 181.9HP, much happier about that! power delivery's much smoother now too.

what's the ride like with the springs on? I had a ff 197, then bought a cup in White and the rides alot differnt! Ive got some H&R springs the same as yours but I'm umming and ahhing about putting them on!

gave the old girl a good clean and went in search of some good shots around northants the other night, heres the result!

just ordered the sprint rear spoiler from ktec so hopefully will get that soon and slap her on!! then i've just got too save for my wheels!

spacers where around £240 after shipping and the springs (fitted at ktec) came too £400 really does improve every aspect of the car IMO and the ride isnt harsh which im grateful for!!!

Hey Lammie, The first shot in the sequence looks amazing, you must be a photographer?!

The lowering looks perfect, and i would have thought the 25mm spacers were too much but they're just right. You seem to be making all the mods i'm planning; great minds!

Have you not been pulled over with that front number plate, i thought they were illegal?

Kosluk never been pulled or had any probs with the plate although i do have it velcro'd on with the original in the back........just in case may get another white one for the back soon.

some updates, new spoiler painted and fitted and tow belt.









But abit more exciting is the car we had in at work recently! it came to us because the company that normally works on these cars was stacked out.

Its amazing how different it is compared to mine, and interestingly they put a different type of white on it aswell and nothing is sealed for weight purposes! I thought that they'd just stripped out and sooped up an original clio, but apparently theres alot more too it!
