Doesnt it depend on van size though, transit size vans are 60 on the motorway although it's very rare to see one below 80 unless the traffics sluggish

I think up to 7.5 tonnes are 70 mph. Not 100% sure on that though. I was driving a Crafter at 70 over the weekend.

up to 3.5 tonnes (gets complicated if your towing a trailer and it goes over 3.5t combined weight)

over 3.5 its tacho rules etc and speed limited

7.5 tonnes limited to 56 now like their big brothers up to 44 tonnes!

I suppose this could work to a degree, but as others have said if its a 50 zone the car wont stop you cornering at 50.

The simple fact is that you wont stop people being killed on the road, in any age group.
The only thing that I get annoyed about is other at risks groups arent targeted like under 25's

Do you know what the new rules about towing a trailer are? I have been seeing an increased amount of L plated trailer towing vehicles. What license do you need to drive what?
