200: Falsely told my vehicle had full service history

I bought my ex demo megane with the promise from RUK it had never been on track. 6 months later I found pictures of it in PFC lapping the ring. Kicked up an absolute stink about it and wanted either money back or an extra years warranty for 'false advertising'. RUK didn't budge an inch and were happy to take it to court.

Shame they make such good cars and treat their customers like ****.

Absolutely ****.

I disagree with this. I work for a main dealer and have lost count of the number of times RUK customer services have paid or highly contributed to a repair on a customers car, even after the car is long out of warranty.

I swear I mentioned that not all of them are like this in a previous post. I'm not slandering the whole company. I'm speaking about RSWA. Excuse me for that .

Post 17 I believe.

i must admit from my experience dealers near me are not that good thats why i use specialists but when i speak to Ruk they seem spot on what i would do if i was you mate is speak to ruk find out the original supplying dealer of the car and then ring them to get the history that what i did with mine i live in essex and my car came from SMC renault woking even though i had the book i rang them to confirm what work had been done and they told me everything obviously not the old owners details etc due to law hope this helps

I must be lucky, -Eddie- is the service manager at my local Renault garage and bar one incident before Eddie started there (which I got several phone calls, apologies and a discount on future work) they have been brilliant.

I in return disagree with your post. Maybe you work in the one rare exception and there is hope for us yet but everytime I've ever dealt with RUK it's been a miserable experience.
