Extra Stripey Gordini - Recaro pics added

To date no remap. Will do this after the mani and head work.

Fancy a harness bar rather than a rear cage, don't fancy losing the rear seats. You get the idea:

Wont the rear seats become 'useless' anyway with a harness bar in place ?

Unfortunately there was a bit of a hiccup this evening with the brake conversion. While the calipers and discs looked a good fit on the first assembly, with the pads in they foul the bells. As such it will require a larger spacer to be made and longer bolts. On the phone to Reyland tomorrow morning

Looks like an additional 4.75mm should do the trick

The good news is that there is a lot of clearance in the Braids so plenty of room left for a larger spacer

All minor problems in the scale of things. and to be expected when pushing the envelope bud......

Your kids face imprint on the inside of the windscreen will be reward enough

So close yet so far!

You going to do anything for brake cooling? Bigger calipers and discs in a smaller area = More heat.

I would have thought a larger disc would cool better and there's only the same energy being converted? Interesting comment and I will consider any additional ducting from the front grill/fog area in future if necessary. Probably not going to be an issue in the 2 mile commute though!

what a great looking kit..just a little problem that will be sorted soon..gotta try them new brakes and let us know..

Well that's a fair point actually, more surface is less friction, but it's still more tightly compacted in there (no pun for once).

Yeah some people on here have routed ducts to the arches from the fogs (even more so on the 182s)

Yes it was a good point though. I'd just considered the upgrade without cooling. Something to definitely add to the long list of things to do

Looking good. Shame about the catching on the bells. I should have my spacers made up this week. I've 3D printed a prototype to test on the car before having them made to suit the 335mm rotors. 350mm look awesome though! I think the two piece rotors look real mean!
