Eating the inside of my tyres

Had 200 around a year now, (12000 miles) n noticed the inside of front two tyres are bald, I do have the cup set up.

This this common with the rest of you guys?

tracking is out ! it aint pressures !

needs checking and adjusting :thumbup1:

I had the same on mine last Jan when I had them changed the inside was well worn but still 3mm on the outside edge. I put it down to the camber more than anything. Had the tracking done when the new tires went on and it was perfect. They will need doing again soon after 8,000 miles ;/

got to have a lot of camber to make the inside of tyres go bald!

just because the tracking is within limits doesnt mean its right as most will have a tolerance - within reason the tyres should wear evenly across the entire width - with perhaps more wear in the centre of the tyre due to their width and profile

if it was mine it would be checked and adjusted :thumbup1:

Definitely tracking if its just inside edge. It would only be a pressure problem if it was inside and outside edge

Def tracking id say. Mine have always given me complete even wear from new. The only clio (out of 4) that has given me me even tyre wear lol.

Hi mate.

I would say the same as Foxspeed. Your tracking is out. You are most likely running too much camber on the fronts. Get all four tyres re-aligned an u should be fine then. Keep an eye on it from time to time after u get them tracked mate.

Hope this helps

Chris

it would have to be a LOT of camber to wear the insides bald......

its 99% will be excessive toe-out on the front :thumbup1:
