Hey,

I'm here because for some crazy reason I've bought a french pile-o-shite............and surprisingly I love it! It has replaced my E46 M3 that I had as the M3 just put to much unnecessary strain on finances.

But I'll start with a very brief car history

Mk5 Fiesta Zetec-S with 1.7 FRP Engine 150hp


MK1 FRS 400hp


MK6 Fiesta ST 162hp


Mk5 Fiesta Zetec-S Cammed 155hp


Another Mk5 Zetec-S 110hp (This thing was so simple and so much fun!)




Evo 6 GSR 500hp


Another MK1 FRS


Westfield Widebody SEIW Xflow - 155/160hp


E46 M3



They have been a few more cars in between but these are the main ones, and that brings us up to pretty much now.

So after a short time away from cars, I felt the need to scratch the itch again but didn't want to break the bank just yet, and my main aim was to have another track car.....so the main contender was a Clio RS so after a short time of looking I found one, looked at it, bought it.

I've had it now about 3 weeks?



Gave it the compulsory first wash by chucking some water over it...........



lobbed a dry on it



Scrubs up well!



While I was at it, I decided to treat the 'rubbers' as I always do with all my cars I have

So then I removed the 'ghey' stickers along the skirts and just drove it, and to be honest it's had big boots to fill and so far, its been a joy to drive

Best colour obviously, I may be biased though

I'd recommend upgrading the engine mounts with powerflex ones, improves the car so much (if you can put up with the vibrations).

There is a company called Rensportsolutions on Instagram. I know they are a distributor of cup racer/R3 bits! Check their page out, it's a company called AP Motorsport that runs the page. I've just bought my cup racer wheels from him.

Not done a lot recently as the car been away for quite some time having this done......







Its a genuine cup racer cage from a Clio 4 RS, has exactly the same floor pan but the bars either side fouled the windscreen so the angle of that has been reduced.
