DIY: Wrapping the badges on my Clio

I bought a sheet of A4 wrapping foil, carbon fibre style.

Will try to wrap my Renault-badges on the Clio. If I do not succeed, then it's no biggie as it only cost me 2 pounds.

Anyone done this before?
Got any useful advice?

Is this the normal carbon wrap? had to read it twice when you said wrapping 'foil'

I wrapped mine in gloss black but kept getting folded edges at the corner of the diamonds. Another member used a method of wrapping the diamond in two halves (top and bottom section of the diamond) so I gave this a go and it was a lot neater, unfortunately when we had some warm weather the wrap must of shrunk and you can see a VERY fine silver line where the two halves meet.

I'm getting carbon diamonds next week

I did mine but as Curley said you can't get complete coverage with just a single piece (The insides of the diamond aren't covered). You could put a strip around the inner edge and then put a single piece over the front so sort this.

I ended up getting proper carbon ones from streamline, looks great
